“You’re pushing it, homunculus.”

“You’d be lost without me, alchemy freak.”

“May I please ask that everyone keep their hands to themselves! The young lord does not like to be poked.”

Time for Lan Fan to head in for the night.
“It is alright. Besides you need the practice more than I do. I use to help mother and our lord’s mother raise you both, I know what I am doing, you need the practice and help.”
Handing Zolf to Lan Fan carefully and smiles how the baby is calm toward his aunt Lan Fan.
Lan Fan’s gaze shifted back to her sister, though she didn’t have any time to respond before the baby was placed in her hands. Staring down at Zolf, she blinked her dark eyes and smiled awkwardly. “Ah, hello.” She cradled him in her arms, taking in the sight of his small, infant body.
“He looks like his daddy. It’s a little Kimblee.”
She moved to sit down, as she was afraid that she might drop little Zolf if she continued to stand. Sighing, she scared down at the baby, quite unsure of what to do. “He is,” Lan Fan agreed softly.

She stared into the red eyes of the cat. “You seem…familiar…” Her brows furrowed as she stood up, cradling the cat in her arms.
Greed purrs and smirks faintly.
Shaking her head, Lan Fan held the cat close to herself as she began to walk back to the palace. “I’ll find your home.”
Not saying a word, Lan Fan took a few steps toward them—at least until she was a few inches away from both her sister and nephew. Her dark eyes glanced at Fan Lan, then shifted toward the baby boy. For some reason, she felt uneasy. She had never really been around a baby before.
Lan Fan took a deep breath, well this wasn’t good if she was expecting her own. “My Lord saw him already?” She leaned forward, trying to get a good look at the baby. “He’s…cute,” she stated awkwardly.
She saw her sister’s hesitation. Fanny knew that Lan Fan was the youngest of her family and never had to take care of a child before. She on the other hand helped their mother with Lan Fan when she was a baby as well as Ling. And seeing her sister made her smile. Lan Fan was going to deal with her own baby soon and she knew that Lan Fan would need her help.
“Yes and Ling adores Zolf. Speaking of Zolf, you want to hold him. It will give you practice.”
A small smile graced her lips when she mentioned how the baby was toward the young lord. “I don’t blame him,” she stated softly. Lan Fan didn’t move from her position. However, her dark eyes didn’t stray from the baby.
Her head snapped up to stare at Fan Lan and the small smile faded from her face. “U-Uh, I could try…” The young bodyguard furrowed her brows as her gaze shifted to her hands. This all felt very odd.
It was in that moment that Lan Fan felt her resolve crash. Leaning down, she scooped the cat into her arms. “Hello kitty, are you lost?”
He simply nods trying not to give away who he is.
